The 40th MP Company has also been called to service from 1992 to 1997, including
the infamous Los Angeles riots, in which 40th MP Company soldiers were the
"first responders" to quell the chaos. Other duties included assisting
victims of the Los Angeles floods, fire fighting and securing the Republican
National Conference.
