| In August of 2006, 40th MP Company soldiers supported Transportation
Safety Administration (TSA) workers by enforcing new security measures.
Approximately 320 California Guardsmen were on duty at seven major airports
throughout the state. Duties included helping to randomly screen airline passengers and their carry-on bags, and confiscating contraband such as liquids, gels and lotions.* |
